Tours & CLass Visits
Tour campus! Chat with a student. See what a class is like.
The Undergraduate Admission Office, Room 210 Gibson Hall, is where we hold information sessions and begin our campus tours. We run tours starting at 9:00am and 2:00pm Monday through Friday during the school year, (only 9:00am during the summer months), and at 9:00am most Saturdays. You can see all available dates and times, and arrange your campus tour by using our online reservation system.
For group tours of 8 or more, please contact Antoinette Abboud. We gladly welcome group visits to Tulane’s campus. Provided tour guide availability, all students of high school age will be granted a guided tour of Tulane’s campus. Groups of students in their Junior and Senior years of high school will be accommodated with an information session led by an Admission Counselor in addition to the guided tour. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate groups of students that are not of high school age, and any groups larger than 60 students. We will gladly provide copies of self-guided tour scripts or campus maps. Group Visits must be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance, and due to staff and volunteer availability, only a limited number of group tours are available each month. We greatly prefer that groups schedule plan their visits for either 10:00 AM , 1:00 PM or 3:00 PM. We are unable to accommodate any Group Visits during the end of March and throughout the entire month of April.
During the school year, we welcome you to sit in on a class. Please look at the list of classes before you visit in order to decide which class you would like to sit in on.
Admitted students are also invited to eat a meal on campus with a current student. If you are interested in setting up a lunch date, please call 1-800-873-9283 or contact your counselor. We ask that you please call us at least a week ahead of time to set up lunch.
For Louisiana high school students we host Louisiana Week at Tulane, a daily program spanning one week that is specially designed for prospective Louisiana high school students and their parents to visit Tulane University.
Tulane does not offer evaluative interviews as part of the application process. However, we are always happy to answer your questions and share our advice. In fact, every campus tour begins with an information session with a member of our admission committee.
