Tilton Hall
Previous Stop Next StopOriginally built as the university's library, Tilton Hall now houses the Economics Department and the Murphy Institute of Political Economy.
Political economy is an interdisciplinary major that combines Political Science, Economics and Philosophy; it is one of the only programs of its kind. Tilton Hall also houses two beautiful Tiffany stained-glass windows and the Amistad Research Center, the largest collection of primary source material on American minorities, with a strong focus on African Americans. The Amistad Reserach Center served as the source of most of the research used in the Steven Speilberg movie Amistad.
