Richardson Memorial
Previous Stop Next StopRichardson Memorial is where the School of Architecture is located and where Tulane architecture students spend a majority of their time in the classroom. Luckily, it is an architect’s dream! The building holds several design studios, a library, an architecture-based computer lab and even its own deli, so our architecture students have everything they need, and all in one place.
Architecture is a five-year program in which students graduate with a Masters of Architecture. The curriculum is studio-based and students get into the studio and start building models in their very first year. One of the best things about Tulane’s architecture program is the opportunity for students to become directly involved with the rebuilding of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Through the URBANbuild program, students both design and build affordable housing in the low-lying neighborhoods that were flooded during the storm. If you are interested in architecture, there is no better time to study it in New Orleans and no better place than at Tulane.
