Israel Environmental Sciences Building and Boggs Center
Previous Stop Next StopIsrael and Boggs are where most of the programs in our School of Science and Engineering are located. Their state-of-the-art lab facilities and equipment provide the perfect environment to study any of our sixteen science and engineering majors.
The School of Science and Engineering at Tulane University has a long tradition of excellence in science and engineering education. Low student to faculty ratio, outstanding students and a distinguished, research-oriented faculty, with a strong commitment to education, yield an ideal learning environment.
The Israel Environmental Sciences Building is one of the newest academic buildings on campus. It is also one of our campus’ “green” buildings, which means that it was built using environmentally friendly construction materials and design features, and that it functions partially on natural energy. Inside Israel are Tulane's biology, chemistry and environmental sciences labs and classrooms. The rooftop view is also one of the most spectacular in the city.
Boggs Center houses Tulane's Engineering Department, which offers majors in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and Engineering Physics.
