Tulane’s Top 50 medicine, law and business programs as well as our masters and Ph.D. programs in liberal arts and public health, convince many of our undergraduates to remain at Tulane after graduation.
Tulane offers 4+1 or Masters Degree programs in all 5 of our undergraduate schools: Liberal Arts, Public Health, Science & Engineering, Architecture and Business. These programs allow students to complete both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in five years. With over one-third of Tulane’s students entering graduate school immediately after graduation, many students take advantage of these opportunities.
Many students go on to Tulane’s top-rated graduate programs in law, business or medicine. Our graduate programs favor students who obtain their undergraduate degrees at Tulane, and the Law and Business schools even have programs to allow undergraduates to begin their studies one year early.
Tulane’s School of Law, located in Weinmann Hall on the Uptown campus, is one of the best law schools in the country. It is one of the only law schools in the country that teaches both common and civil law; the system prepares students to practice in the United States and throughout the rest of the world.
The School of Medicine offers an outstanding curriculum with an excellent balance between basic and clinical sciences. The curriculum also emphasizes the attitudes, behaviors and clinical skills necessary to effectively practice medicine. Tulane students have the opportunity to apply to Tulane’s medical school early, after their sophomore year, through the Creative Premedical Scholars Program.
The A.B. Freeman School of Business offers Ph.D., full- and part-time MBA programs as well as 4+1 master’s degree programs in Accounting and Finance.
