Academic Quad
Previous Stop Next StopAlthough it is located at the southernmost end of campus, the Academic Quad is truly the center of academic life at Tulane. Students frequently find themselves in this area for class, but while learning may start in the classroom, it certainly does not end there. Tulane students apply what they learn inside of the classroom for the benefit of the greater community.
The Academic Quad is the larger of the two main quads on campus. Here you will find Tulane's science and engineering departments, various liberal arts departments, the Honors Program office, the School of Architecture, and all of Tulane's administrative offices. This quad, which holds the majority of our classrooms, is conveniently located ten minutes away from the residential area of campus.
