Fitness & Health

Student health is a priority at Tulane. Pilates, yoga, spinning, a 7,000 square-foot weight room and an Olympic-size swimming pool are just a few of the fitness resources that Tulane provides its students. Tulane also provides top-notch medical resources; our Tulane Student Health Center is right on campus.

Students enjoy staying fit at Tulane's Reily Center, a state-of-the-art recreational facility that includes an Olympic-sized indoor pool, a 1/9th-mile indoor track, basketball, racquetball, squash, and volleyball courts, a weight room, saunas, and aerobics studios. Wellness programs, including fitness consultations and personal training sessions, are also available at the Reily Center.

Aside from working out at the Reily Center, students take advantage of many other ways to stay in shape. Tulane has over 35 different club sports and several intramural sports. Our campus is also right across the street from Audobon Park, a fantastic place to walk, jog, or even play golf.

The Student Health Center, a component of the Tulane University Medical Center, provides basic medical and psychiatric care while maintaining a sensitivity to age, gender, disability, culture, ethnic background, and sexual orientation. Additionally, Tulane Emergency Medical Service has fully certified emergency medical technicians ready to respond to campus emergencies.
