Pascale Gerdes
I am a Caribbean girl through and through; I love water skiing and relaxing on the beach. I also love to read; some of my favorite books include: The Count of Monte Cristo (the French version) and Harry Potter. I enjoy discovering new cultures and restaurants. My favorite meal is composed of banane pesée (fried plantains), riz Djon-Djon (type of Haitian rice), and poulet en sauce (type of Creole chicken). I feel completely at home in New Orleans because it reminds me of an old French Caribbean neighborhood, offers a multitude of excellent restaurants, and encompasses much diversity.
Pascale works with students from Central America, South America, New Mexico, central Florida and Utah.
